- Sub: 2 Easy questions and a Hard 1?
-
- Hello,
-
- Easy Question # 1
- When a regular vanilla Pascal UNIT is linked in with an
- application using MacApp, what segment is the vanilla Pascal code
- put in if you don't specify a segment? ARes? Main?
-
- Easy Question # 2
- Does the MacApp 2.0B5 manual have a section on "Segmenting Your
- Application" like the MacApp 1.1 manual had? I can't find it in the
- Interim manual or Release notes. Are the MacApp defined segments
- still the same?
-
- A Hard Question ?
- I was wondering if there is a way to lock down an object or the
- segment an object is in and convert a method call into a ProcPtr?
- Specifically, is there a way to pass a pointer to a method call of
- an instantiated object, similiar to the way I would pass a procedure
- pointer?
-
- Any answers or hints as to where I might find the answers will
- be deeply appreciated.
-
- Thank you for any time and effort you spend on this,
-
